Design Buro was commissioned by Coventry & Warwickshire Partnership Trust (CWPT) to provide Architectural Services for the demolition of 8-9 Sycamore Crescent providing new built Autism Low Secure (ALS) accommodation that is fit for purpose and complies with current Health Building Standards.
The new ALS Unit consists of a single storey building along with associated landscaping and fencing. It was designed to create a loop of circulation within the building, improving the efficiency of the buildings internal operations.
The new unit incorporates the following accommodation:

7no. self-contained single person flats for use by patients, one of which will be design to be fully accessible for a range of needs. The flats have connection to individual private gardens.

1no. seclusion suite with associated observation.

An assortment of patient day spaces and therapy rooms, of varying sizes and specification, with connection to external gardens .

Offices and welfare spaces for staff.

Reception and interview suites for admissions and visitors to the unit.
