Design Buro was commissioned to provide Architectural Services, Lead Design Services and Principal Designer Services to cover RIBA Workstages 1 - 6 for the erection of a two storey detached Health Centre in Lillington, Leamington Spa with associated parking, cycle parking and landscaping together with relocation of existing car park on adjacent land.

Lillington Health Hub is a multidisciplinary health centre locate within the suburb of Leamington Spa and in the heart of the community of Lillington, which delivers a community focused centralised healthcare facility, joining together primary care, secondary care and community services to generate a streamlined and truly integrated healthcare service. 

The centre is to embody the CCG’s strategy or primary and community care, to secure health services for the future that will improve health outcomes and support a sustainable healthcare system. The objectives of the design achieved were:

• Flexibility in how it is used and configured in order to accommodate current and future service models.

• Easy to navigate.

• A welcoming environment.

• Affordable

• Secure but not overbearing.

• Provide a modern clinical environment that meets compliance requirements in relation to infection control, accessibility, BREEAM

• Excellent privacy and dignity.
