Whole departments are being relocated, decanted and reconfigured to allow for asbestos to be safely removed,
The critical care department sits within the surgical quadrant alongside theatres and recovery where speed of access and proximity is imperative.
The critical are department is split into 2, intensive care and high dependency. Both of which incorporate 6 single bedrooms and 2 isolation rooms. A centralised nurse base is a hub to the wards where visibility is maintained to all rooms.
